It's been a wonderful journey . . .
After more than 40 amazing years behind the camera, I have decided that it is time for me to begin a new chapter and retire from my portrait business.
It is difficult to put into words how grateful I am for the many families, couples, high school seniors and individuals who have trusted me to capture portraits of them and their loved ones. Over the years, many of you have become much more than clients—you have become friends.
Of course I have no intention of putting down my camera! Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager, and that will continue. My work will simply be taking me in a new direction which will allow me to explore new creative endeavors.
I'm looking forward to traveling with my husband Mark and our Dachshund Bailey, to discover new landscapes and pursue more of my own personal photography. I am also involved in several local art festivals, where I can display my latest works. And lastly, I do volunteer work at animal shelters in the area.
Most of all I would like to thank my many loyal clients that have stayed with me for so many years. Creating portraits for you that I hope will be enjoyed for generations, has been both an honor and a pleasure, and I will miss each and every one of you.
With heartfelt thanks,
Susan
